- 1907 Fritz Vogel went to the oldest hotel management school in the world in Lausanne and took over the Stadthof-Posthotel near the main train station in Zurich.
- 1948 his son Fridolin bought the Hotel Glarnerhof in Glarus.
- 1972 he bought the Hotel Bellevue in Braunwald.
- 1975 he handed over the Hotel Bellevue to his son Martin.
- Martin and Lydia Vogel turned it into the already legendary fairy tale hotel in 1977.
- In 2011 the next generation with Nadja and Patric Vogel took over the fairy tale hotel.
Once upon a time...
...is not only the beginning of many fairy tales, but also the happy fact that Lydia and Martin Vogel are retiring after 35 years of creative work. It is a happy reality and not a fairy tale that the Vogel family has passed on the fairy tale hotel to the succeeding Vogel generation. Patric and Nadja Vogel have been allowed to lead the child-friendly hotel into a fairy-tale future since the summer season of 2011. The current hosts of the fairy tale hotel look forward to their challenge and especially to you, dear guests.
