Drive your car to the large parking lot. From there, the funicular takes you up to us every 1/2 hour.
Glarus Pass
With the new Glarus Pass, you can travel free of charge from Ziegelbrücke with all public transport throughout the entire canton of Glarus up to Braunwald. The Glarus Pass will be sent to you by email the day before your arrival and is valid from the day of arrival until and including the day of departure.

The S25 runs hourly directly from Zurich HB to Linthal in just over 1 ½ hours without changing.

The uncovered parking lot next to the valley station of the funicular offers space for over 750 cars (6 charging stations for electric cars)

Strollers, wheelchairs, bikes
The funicular Linthal - Braunwald and the Grotzenbüel cable car are accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Bikes are also transported free of charge on the funicular and the Grotzenbüel cable car.
