Highlights for Children

The final highlight of each day is and remains the Fairy Tale Hour with the Fairy Tale Fairy or the Fairy Tale Uncle. Exciting stories that make children's eyes light up. A tradition for over 40 years.

Locomotive Emma serves the children's dinner, the tables fly brightly through the room. A whole hall full of attractions just for children!

In the center of the continuously supervised Märliland stands a giant Märlibaum with hanging bridges, secret tree houses, a bird's nest, and plenty of space to explore.

Receive your egg dishes at breakfast with the world's first egg cable car.

From 3 nights onwards, if desired, all children's laundry will be washed free of charge the day before departure and can be picked up again on the day of return.

In Braunwald, you can also go pony riding. Isabelle Kappeler has very lovely animals on her farm. A wonderful fun activity that also teaches the child the valuable relationship with animals. In winter, only during the sports weeks.

On the playground of the Fairytale Hotel stands the first play crane in Switzerland.
As well as a popular children's construction excavator. Children, hold onto your fathers!

He is small, amiable, and has a very long beard. Our Dwarf Bartli from Braunwald. His traces can be found at the original locations of the Glarus fairy tale: in the dwarf castle, the gemstone crevice, or Tiidi's little house. Come in summer or autumn to search and experience his adventures.

The Golden Geiss Bridge does not hang in San Francisco, but in front of the Märchenhotel in Braunwald. The Hasenschloss is inhabited by Häsi, Hüpf, and Wuschel as well as the guinea pigs Flock and Fläcki. And if they ever want some fresh air, they simply crawl through the Gotthas Tunnel over to the castle garden.

Our 25-meter-long adventure slide through the llama and alpaca enclosure brings joy to both young and old. With a fantastic view, you race down the mountain. Once at the bottom, you want to go again!

Have your children long dreamed of taking a little trip with llamas and alpacas? Twice a week we go (in good weather) for a walk with the animals. Duration: approx. 1 hour.

In the fairytale hotel, there is even a syrup fountain in the summer - almost like in the land of milk and honey! Quenching thirst can be so easy and fun!

Mooo! Don't worry dear guests. We are not driving a herd of cows through the breakfast hall. Yet it is an experience - the daily cow milking at the breakfast buffet. Now the day can begin.

After an exciting evening program in Märliland, all children can let off steam once more on the Gumpischloss (bouncy castle) before an eventful day comes to an end.
